KLAP 89.5 Community Radio was founded by Jeff Cotton of OpenSkyRadio.  (Think old school KTHX days, and Reno’s heyday of independent music with the likes of the late Bruce Van Dyke)

KLAP plays eclectic Americana music, truly some of the best sounds of the desert. The station’s broadcast range is from Squaw Pass to Limbo Grade and parts of Pyramid Lake.

KLAP is a community-run non-profit. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be taken at Empire Store and Planet X Pottery.
