Gerlach General Improvement District (GGID) and Community Center

The Gerlach General Improvement District provides water, disposal and sewer services to the residents of the community.  The office is located within the Gerlach Community Center.

GGID is governed by an elected Board of Directors (Board Chairman and four Board Members).

Meetings
Public meetings are held once a month on the first Thursday of each month at 5:00 pm at the Gerlach Community Center.

Water
Bulk water is also available for purchase for all approved accounts. Water is also available for purchase during Burning Man. Contact us for details and location.

Gerlach Community Center
The Gerlach Community Center is also available to rent for special events and gatherings.  For current rates or to rent the Community Center, please contact the GGID office.

Transfer Station (garbage disposal)
Located on Transfer Road, 1/4 mile north of town between Hwy 447 and SR 34.
Hours:  Mondays and Saturdays, 8:00 am – `12:00 pm.   Wednesdays 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
